Les Trois Chênes chambres d’hôtes is on the historic route of Richard the Lion Heart (Richard Coeur de Lion) an itinerary which takes you past many ancient towns and no less than seven breathtaking chateaux and castles. If you ever tire of history, then Videix is ideal for walkers and cyclists, the many quiet roads and paths pass through beautiful countryside and lead to pretty villages. You can swim and sunbathe at Videix beaches or hire kayaks, pedalos, canoes, sailing boats and wind-surfs at Videix nautical centre on the side of an impressive lake. It is excellent for triathlon training and cycling. There are two riding stables nearby, an adventure play centre and many farms to visit. Hunting and fishing are great local pastimes, (fishing permits are cheap and easily available) and only half an hour away there are two golf courses with full facilities. Videix has something to please everyone in the family.
