Ouessant ram for sale.

Ouessants, originating in Brittany, are the smallest known race of sheep. The females stand 45cm at the shoulder and the rams 49cms, about knee-high. They are extremely hardy and can stay out summer and winter alike, existing on poor scrub land where it would be impossible to graze other races. They are ideal ecological lawnmowers and are often kept to keep areas of grass cropped. The male has magnificent horns that curl around and grow year by year and they have thick fleeces, usually black although there are also white and grey ouessants. Sheep are herd animals and must be kept in groups, so you will need to provide ‘friends’ for Simon.

Plus petite race ovine connue souvent utilisé pour l'entretien des jardins et parcs – un véritable tondeuse écologique.  C'est une race extrêmement rustique, qui peut passer toute l'année au grand air sans problèmes. Elle peut se contenter d'une nourriture médiocre et on peut l'élever là où nul autre mouton pourrait vivre.

Beau bélier, non-castré et environs de 49 cm à vendre à cause surnombre. Il est née Avril 2008.
